If you use the Free Consultation form, you provide a trust topic, first and last name, email address, optional telephone number, message, and affirmative consent to sharing. The Alaska Trust Research Assessment operates locally in the browser; its answers are neither transmitted nor stored by the site.

Please keep highly sensitive records out of the initial message. Do not send Social Security or account numbers, passwords, identification files, medical records, tax returns, or similar material through this form.

Delivery and security data

To serve pages, detect automated abuse, and investigate failures, hosting and security providers may process an IP address, browser user agent, request time, referrer, requested URL, and verification data. Browser session storage temporarily holds the initial landing path, an outside referrer, and standard UTM values. Those limited referral values can accompany a submitted consultation request to show how the intake page was reached; merely reading an article does not send them through the consultation form.

Purposes for processing

Information in a submitted request is used to deliver and administer the intake, support a response, identify an independent attorney who may evaluate it, understand the submitted request’s research or referral path, protect the site from abuse, comply with legal obligations, and troubleshoot delivery or technical problems.

No newsletter or advertising-analytics program currently operates on this site. If a new practice is introduced, this policy will be revised before the new use begins when required.

Recipients and compensation

After you give affirmative consent, Alaska Trust & Estate Authority may provide the Free Consultation request to one or more independent attorneys or law firms for evaluation and possible contact. Alaska Trust & Estate Authority may be paid in connection with that process.

Hosting, email-delivery, and security-verification providers process limited information for the publication. Disclosure may also occur when reasonably necessary for law or legal process, security duties, or protection of rights and systems.

Storage and safeguards

A consultation message is kept only as long as reasonably required for delivery, administration, system protection, legal obligations, and dispute handling. Participating firms and email services can apply their own retention schedules.

Reasonable protections are used, but no online transmission, email system, or storage service can be promised as completely secure. Sending only the limited information needed for initial evaluation reduces exposure.

Access and deletion choices

To request access, correction, or deletion, email privacy@alaska.estate. The available right, required identity verification, and legal exception depend on the requester’s location and the information involved.
